Who would have thought that a simple marriage of a politician’s relative would be a grant to the general populace. Sh Vipul Goel with his undying love and concern for his people managed to change mindsets with his generous nature by including the general public on the auspicious occasion of his niece’s marriage.
Setting an example in generosity, simplicity, philanthropy and sending out a message to the society, the Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr Vipul Goel, solemnized the marriage of his niece (elder brother’s daughter) Tina Goel, at a mass wedding ceremony in New Delhi where he also did kanyadan of 31 poor girls.

The simple marriage ceremony at Indira Gandhi Stadium where food was ordinary was marked by donations for public welfare. On this occasion, Mr Goel distributed cheques to 101 needy people of Varanasi for the construction of houses.
No cards were printed and all guests were invited through mobile message. Instead of sumptuous buffet, the guests were offered limited dishes. On this occasion, Mr Goel appealed to the people to control extravagance at weddings and instead donate money for public welfare. He called the practice of dowry a curse in the society. BJP state incharge, Dr Anil Jain, also attended the wedding and blessed all the newly-weds and said people should learn from this initiative taken by Mr Goel.
Those who attended the wedding included Haryana PWD Minister Rao Narbir and other dignitaries.
